Revisiting fonder times

When for a moment

I pause to think

about an occasion

when I was young

how I wish I could

be that child

once again.

Ride that bike

kick that ball

laugh with friends

touch taste feel

see it all

I wish I could

all in 3D

not just the images

remembering

what used to be.

I did not want to grow up

just left where I was

with everything in its place

just as it was.

Sound sad do I

please don't get me wrong

just wishing I could

be in the back and beyond.
