The Unknown
We pass on the street
With a nod of our head
Or a pleasant smile
We try to be discrete.
We talk online
During our daily grind
Exchanging many words
Some of them not heard.
We type, text and twitter
Caught up in all its glitter
Delving deep into our soul
As if we’re on cruise control.
We exchange, we greet
Everyday from our car
Our home or on the street
Strangers we are.
