Lord, Hear My Prayer
Many good people
Have come into my life.
Some remain
Some were simply
Passing by.
Thank you for bringing
Them into my life
With words of encouragement
Simply delivering your message
During my time of need.
My words are simple
Sometimes I have difficulty
Trying to articulate
What I feel in my heart
Simple words of love.
Lord, lift up my spirit
Let my words shine
So words from my heart
Will touch the heart
Of those in need.
Lord, feel my heart
Let my friends feel it to.
