CHOICEACTSEQUENCE

How important are choice, action and consequence in determining what you amount to? What role does responsibiity, i.e., taking responsibility for your actions and consequences, have in you being happy or unhappy?

It is more to "choiceactsequence" (choice-'ak-se-quence) than a good ring.
Can you name that tune?

On this three-in-one phenomenal term a person's life depends, rises or falls.

The three ordinary words constituting this term are choice, action and consequence.
Making choices, taking actions and reaping consequences happen every day and often most days.
Choice denotes that a person has preferences and freedom to select one thing rather than another.

Action maybe more important than choice. Without action a choice is like a dream that died.
For a choice to be viable it has to be propelled by action.
Action is "act now" and productivity.
Action causes somethng to happen. Productivity from action may be visible or invisible, known or unknown.
Sometimes it is long after the action that productivty is revealed to an observer. But even if it is never known it does not make the action unproductive or less productive.

Consequence, another component of choiceactsequence, follows action. Unlike choice that may or may not be followed by action, action is always followed by consequence.
Action and consequence are a cause and effect symbiotic twosome, if not functionally, definitely, contingency-wise.

Wise is the person who gives consideration to the consequence of his action before acting even though there is no guarantee that the anticipated consequence will be the actual consequence.
It is useless, however, to waste time and energy thinking about an action that did not yield the expected result.
This can only divert a person's attention from embracing present reality.

Underpinning and essential for handling consequence is responsibility, i.e., taking responsibility for the consequence of one's action, even when it was not the one anticipated.
Responsibility could be called the fourth component in this contingency-matrix. Taking responsibility for the consequence of one's action is the quality that enables a person to take responsibility for his own happiness whch is the ultimate desire and achievement of the human spirt.

Yes, it's your life. The choice you make, the action you take, and the consequence it proffers determine what your life really amounts to.

Also remember, that responsibility is the crowinng glory of choiceactsequence.

Let choiceacsequence be your daily affirmation and mantra.
It is appropriate at any time.
Take it as often as needed.
