A short introduction to a short story I have just posted. Although many things I write are mental meanderings. Unfortunately this is reality.

Sunset of a Dream

Where do broken dreams go to?

Those shattered shards upon the ground

Those glittering memories they seem so few

And broken hearted tears threaten to drown.

A lovely literary lament, Robin. I see your use of mostly hard consonants, softened by dreamier soft syllables, as a delicate hand. And, in the ending line, hardness, without hope.

"Sunset of a Dream" flows leaving a sad-wise foam on the waves of the sea of hope.

~ I would think that they become humus to nourish the tree of dreams.

I salute You, Poet.

In gratitude and in admiration,
