Upon my horizon, at dusk,
laid a few far-off clouds,
purpled with majesty.
Tall, fleecy towers kissed
by desert night. The sky
looked broody and bruised.
Faint eyes of stars twinkled
and radiated their foreknowledge.
A pink shimmer hung
between heavens and Earth.
Hushed, now, as cloud gives birth…
Upon my horizon, just after dusk,
scalloped edges of a cloud-flower
become faintly limned
with a glowing silver-white.
Enchanted, I watch in delight
as cloud births a moon. Stars cheer,
sky grows moodier. Moon smiles.
I am pierced by incandescence,
bathed in invisible radiance
between heavens and Earth.
Hushed, now, as I give birth…

Sigh... That is not how I want the photo to look. I'll try later to 'image' a better one to go with this piece. I'm such a dolt with those programs!! :)
