A Diamond-Tipped Ice Pick?

Watching 'CSI: Miami', tonight, a 2007
Rerun, the murder weapon was
A diamond-tipped ice pick!
I didn’t know such a thing existed!
It was a bridal-registry gift, priced
At $800.00. Holy Shit! Ha! At me…

I can see the benefits of a diamond-tipped
Ice pick, sol(i)d hardness versus hardened
Water; having struggled to clip a few cubes
Off a refrozen block, or hundreds! But,
All I’d ever seen were base metal picks,
Or butter knives, or meat tenderizers.
A diamond-tipped ice pick? Could I use
One? Hell, yes! And, I probably never will…

Ah, Irony! Let me kiss you with my
Diamond-shaped lips, frozen by time!

ERIN - I CONCUR!

As stated below, Matlack LACKS COUTH! An intelligent murderer would never use and Leave a Diamond-tipped Icepick - too much value - would take it with him/her! As there are no Riflings on such a shaft, ballistics would have a problem matching the weapon, wouldn't they?

I always thought that the perfect murder weapon mught be a WATER GUN with a Nitrogen -Powered capsule, that shot a pure H20 ICICLE - this would melt quickly, with the water blending with the predominant body fluid, Water - leaving no trace - just a narrow, deep hole!

How's that for a Who-Dun-Nit Plot?

peace - Tom.

What will they think of next. Will diamond ice picks work better, because they're diamond? They all work the same. *sigh* Some have too much on their hands ... still, I'd a said the same thing, "Holy shit!" LOL Well penned, Erin.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

CSI Miami is the best of that series with the Vegas one running a close second & I remember that particular show and I also remember seeing it for the first time...my thought was, "WHAT THE HELL DOES ONE NEED WITH A DIAMOND-TIPPED ICE PICK?" But then again I just bang my ice cubes on the counter top, ain't I definitely just trailor trash...LOL! Ed
