Irresistibly, concaved keys cackle
With the senselessness of a Mad Hatter
Thumping on plasticware.

Feasting on right sided brain waves
Ideas usher forth with deft commentary
Slowed only by an occasional mind burp.

The best and worst of younger days
Strangely vivid in the evening hour
Push sultry daydream dalliances aside.

Remarkably, the ten fingered drummer
Bangs errant syllables of heady prose
Into convulsive bands of prognostication.

Coarsely bound by soured wit
A tale unfolds from within the id
Carving thoughts into paragraph form

And when the pages have had their fill
Sage keepers of the written word
Come again in praise or disdain.
