Author JB shares a wonderful tribute to his late mother for Mother's Day

The Greatest Gift To Me Was Your Love

Happy Mother’s Day Mother!

Oh how beautiful and glamorous you were in your youth. I remember vividly, when you were a perfect ten. A Strong provider, handling quite well the roll of a strong mother and father, surviving much trauma, agony, and domestic pain, yes mom, you were a perfect figure eight. And you remained that way during and even until the end of your old age. And for forty-five months during your young life you gave life to us, to me. Although that perfect figure eight left you graciously for a moment, your smile and your love for me and us withstood the pain. It held on throughout the journey. God was with you mother, He blessed you with us, and He’s with us now also, and have blessed us with the memory of you and all the wonderful acts of kindness and love that you showed us your children during your wonderful lifetime, which was the best times of our lives. It’s been said that in time, time will erase away all memory. Well time will never rob me of my thoughts of you, my love for you, or my constant yearning to be with you, or my proud and fondest memories of you. Today is Mother’s Day, your day, and while others who have living mothers are honoring them with beautiful gifts on this special day, I can only honor you with this treasure of written words gathered together from a special place deep within my heart. A heart that you gave life to and are continuously leading even from Heaven above. A heart, which lives and breathe you everyday of its throbbing life. Because the greatest gift of all to me was your precious love!

Happy Mother’s Day Mother!
I love you and miss you dearly!

There have only been a few times in my life, where words were able to actually make my physical heart feel an ache. Wow! What a tribute to your mother! You worded your thoughts in such an original way that they become tangible. I'm going to read your other writings Johnny!

I must say this wonderful tribute has moved me to read your bio...and I'm truly honored to have done so. I too had been raised by my mother, and though worlds apart, I do understand where your coming from...

God is great!
