A true and honest plea from a brother to the brothers to be the man that God intended for them to be. Return home and love that which is yours.

 The Irresponsible Brother-The Irresponsible Man

Because of his irresponsibility, he’s destroyed his life and
destroying his family. He has a son living on cell block six,
and a daughter living on psyche ward nine, and when their mom gets her Welfare check she blows it on crack and wine. His youngest boy sits on death row, and is running out of time, and his baby girl is expecting, and she's only a year pass nine.
He brougth them all onto God's land but when he had to
support them like a dog he ran. Couldn' stay there like a
father and be a man.  He claimed ghetto life was too slow so
he packed up his guitar and hit the road, expecting his
momma to carry his load. Somehow she did the best she
could, but old age caused the load to be too heavy on her
mind at times, so she found herself in the Welfare lines. His
woman tried so hard to make ends meet, but it was too
hard because her habits wouldn’t set her free. Now she's got
HIV, and she don't know if she will live to see her youngest
boy set free. But don't blame them for their troubles no, don't
blame them for their hard times, don't blame them for their
pain, blame that irresponsible brother, that irresponsible man!
He’s lived his life in and out of trouble causing his family’s life
to be nothing but a struggle. But now he’s down on bended
knees asking the Lord above to help him please. Help him to
do according to His Holy word so he can help his children, his mother, and his babies' momma's, because they’re his blood.
Oh no, don't blame them for their troubles, don't blame them
for their hard times, and please don’t blame them for their
pain; blame that irresponsible brother, that irresponsible man.
Even though he finally realized that being a real true father
harbors no shame.

stark realism i think it's called a good read though a bit depressing so many cases out there...

It is a sad story, and an even sadder state of affairs that you speak of here. There is a growing emotional and spiritual pandemic on this planet - a runaway train that seems to be gaining momentum, and people are always the victims. Powerful write.

Light and Wisdom ...
