Where is my significant other
that possesses the heart of a
compassionate old soul lover?
The one whom I haven't yet
met in this life already?
That kindred half that can finish
my fleeting thought in mid-sent-
ence interrupted by possible
telepathy and passionate chemistry?
The one that still shares these
experiences, held and carried
through the dark by the dream
that started it all?
And yet frequent jaded haunts,
still wondering what those sad
british pop stars meant by,
'Wonderwall'?
Maybe in some unforseen light
of passerbys we could've crossed
paths in the midst of crowded city
under a cinder white sky..
Wherever you are, I've been day-
dreaming about the chances of your
name or rather what color your
eyes could be..
But what better way then to
leave these fateful realizations
to a simple bottled prayer in a
Sea of Serendipity?

| Hey Patrick, came across your poetry while browsing Authorsden. This one really is lovely. You have translated the emotions into words so beautifully. Its one of my latest favourites. Also, pray you find your significant other if you haven't yet. God bless, Rita |

Ah ... the wall of sound. When the air becomes fluid with decibel and volume and flows like a pure river. Nice title. Sea of good fortune. And the content, threaded with inquisitiveness and insight, is quite poetic. Good job!
Blessings ... |
