Only You And I

~~~*~~~
Not a day goes by
Without me possessing you
In my most valued memories
Of beautiful times
I dreamed of us sharing together.
You were born to torment
My every thought
There I will find you
Wandering through
The corridors of my dreams.
Each time lovelier
Than the first day my eyes
Were graced
With the vision of your
Presence.
Your unique smile
Brightens the darken gloom
Attempting to invade
The inner sanctum
Within me
Where you solely dwell
As you sit there so desirably.
If only
I knew your name
I would conquer the world
With creative descriptions
Of you
Looking at me
As I awe at you
Within a crowded room
Where to me
Only existed you and I.
You have articulated and encapsulated that heavenly state of grace and being where two souls are only intensely aware of each other and mutually attracted and captivated as if with one's own face in the glass. How many have written and sung of such a phenomenon, yet, to each twinned pairing, there is only the one time and place and person, unique and forever and unparalleled. Beautifully expressed, William. xx
