The Gods Punishment
~~~*~~~
There's a thought
of a glorious image
embe ded
deep in my mind
of you
As you blest my vision
the last time
I saw you watching me
walk away.
now the gods
punishes me
for I am unable
to create
A song , An ode, A sonnet
A word, A line, A verse.
They have punished me
by drying my inkwell
Relieving me
Of my quill
Castrating my ability
to create images
upon the virgin parchment
Before me.
HMMM...I DON'T KNOW, WILLIAM. NOT A TIME OF REST, CONTEMPLATION... REFILLING OR RENEWAL? BUT OF PUNISHMENT?!! WE MUSTN'T EVER FORGET; WE ARE 'HIS' INSTRUMENT, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND...WE HAVE TO WAIT. BUT I GUESS EACH POET LOOKS AT IT DIFFERENTLY, HOWEVER...I AM GLAD TO NOTE THAT IT WAS A WHILE AGO THAT YOU WROTE THIS AND I TODAY I READ 'SHE CONFESSED'. WELCOME BACK!!!!! LOVE YA! MANY BLESSINGS AND MUCH FAITH TO YOU AND YOURS.
Your muse is gone? I don't think so, because this poem surely speaks to everyone. I see however, that you wrote it last year.
Let's do a collab soon. Much peace, love and light,
Judging by the way you penned this one, William, you're not being punished at all! Great writing!!!!
