Why Do We Vote?

We all have our own reasons for voting.

It is a privilege, not a right.
To get rid of the political blight.
To see wrongdoings come to light.

To send career politicians on their way.
To tell arrogant lobbyists no more today.
To take back the USA.

To let delegations know we will be around.
So that our voices will not be drowned.
Let them know they were elected not crowned.

To remind them of what our founders wrote.
To let them know not to miss OUR boat.
These reasons and many more is why we vote.

Sad thing is that the founders were only addressing the 0.1 elite and I still find it sad that down south there is an unacceptable amount of prejudice such a divide would have one in gaol on this side of the pond.

Keep moving onwards and upwards!
