Become a Fan

the imaginary (?) weight of the world

behind this world, other worlds
chained like links in a fence of nations
keeping each other away from the light
and life
to find memories in the dirt
of another day, hints of other ways
drying
under the sun, lost in the rain of days
yet a tunnel, a peace, a token like stars
for a moment alone, shining ...
then dropping to cold ocean arms
filling life with a story
a comforting lie
covering up
how we tried to be free.
