Love in a Box

Aye, never found such a lassie yet!

My love I kept in a black box
Labelled: bibs and bobs
Unpleasant things
With very large locks

My lover she made a new key
Released the locks
That set me free

My love is like
A musical box
A joy for the heart
Intended for her
And designed for me

This is quite a telling tale. I like what Janna Hill said: "build it & she will come" because your closing line, "And designed for me", is exactly the formula that sums up your literary sketch here of the locked black box becoming musical. For me this is way more beautiful than cute; it says a great deal to me. ~~ Diana

Only "she" will ever open the box so well guarded! Love this one; and totally relating!

yes, like a musical box I can imagine it well. "it's a small world after all" is the tune the one I wound up this afternoon. I sometimes imagine though that i am the little plastic ballerina resting up on top of a small spring, so easily removed by innocent little hands...lovely. spirited write here Andy.

I would say - life is within the box - The outter part of the box will die and return to the earth from which it came but the life in the box will return to the Heaven from which it came. Be a little flower in the Kingdom of God's Garden. Marguerite Little Flower
