She can do no wrong,
In the eyes of society.
She can do no wrong,
In the publics mind.
She can do no wrong,
When people are watching.
But when we’re alone...
Things all change.

Perfect teeth.
Perfect smile.
Perfect hair.
Perfect child.
Trying to live up to you...

Perfect teeth.
Perfect smile.
Perfect hair.
Perfect child.
I can’t live up to you...

How can you be so cruel?
To me, your daughter.
How can you be so cruel?
To your flesh and blood.
How can you be so cruel?
When no one is watching.
Why can’t you love me,
The way that I am?

Perfect teeth.
Perfect smile.
Perfect hair.
Perfect child.
Trying to live up to you...

Perfect teeth.
Perfect smile.
Perfect hair.
Perfect child.
I can’t live up to you...

Please forget about it,
I’m not like her.
Just forget about it,
I’m not gonna change.
Please forget about it,
I’m far from perfect.
Your gonna have to live,
Without your poster child...
