I write a different poem
Today
Than I have ever written
Before
Today
I feel different
Than I have ever felt
Before

You say my name
Look in my eyes
And I don't know what to feel
Or do or say or how to react
React upon instinct?
The heart?
Thoughts over-thought?
How do I make sense
Ad furthermore
Should I make sense?

All could be right
All is wrong
So wrong
Dead wrong.

All should be right
Needs to be right.

I feel confused
Alone
Cold.
And you are the one
I choose
To fix my confusion
My sadness
To give me warmth

I do not need guidance
I do not need a heart
I am strong by my lonesome
I lie to myself quite often.
