once upon a time,
i had dreams that you were mine.
but then you were--
you were always mine.

once you were mine,
we didn't have time.
then you were gone--
you didnt know how id hurt.

but then you were
across the world
and how you hurt;
i knew you hurt.

how long they say?
how long 'till this love
goes away,
love anyway?

i don't know who you became,
love anyway.
you must be really vain.
love anyway
