a passing ship's love

after all aren't we all vessels, fishes if the sea, just watch out for the sharks, there are plenty of them out there in this deep blue sea,,,

passing ships of the sea
searching for a love
true ~n~kind

to keep promises
whispered in the night

trying to believe
it’s just not
the moon glow
to make one attract

to say words
putting us into
actions of react

the love we so
want true but
hide

how some ships
can be so blind
so vain to the fact

you still have the
freedom of being
you if only you let
me be.

this is the true st love
there can be so
true ~n~kind

fire once rage out of control
now being put to a
smothering glow

from

tears falling thought
they’ve found the love
so true , so kind

not wanting to stay long
you found you did
the key to the open door
sail back out to sea

trying to give up the
old ghost whom is
no longer welcomed

needing to sail a
different ocean~side
of
windsails~n~tide

sailing you are now
of the free
sailing out to sea
from the love so
untrue ~n~unkind

sailing out to sea
until once again
finding the right
love to be
true ~n~kind

or maybe I should
just leave passing ships
alone

This is very nice. I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to say, perhaps written for someone special who will understand (sort of a "private message"), but very nice metaphors.

Passing ships are good when you are in only a stranded life raft. Enjoyed.
