My mother had arthritus and it's truly no laughing matter. Please forgive my 'lighter' outlook on a truly disfiguring and painful disease. Sometimes laughter is the best medicine.
*****************

Will Power is your dad.
John took us in dear lad.
Charlie, his horse, are jailed,
and you're doing as you please.
I've had it 'up to here'
with you and Ruma, dear,
so adieu.

Arthur Ritus write us!
You simply disappeared.
Ma goes on since you've gone ...
it brings tears to her eyes.
Know you left with Ben Gay
though what could Momma say
but adieu?

Will Power's asking
if you're alright, okay?
Ma is planning a party
since you've gone far away
but if you dare return,
they'll be torn up to burn
so adieu.

Arthur Ritus, do know,
Ma's with Buff, Asp Erin's
gone. Advil's on the pill;
when you left ... had Aleve.
Still looking joint to joint?
You've got Ben? What's the point?
Oh, adieu!

Ma's on the trampoline
jumping keen (knees don't creak)
with unbent fingers, eats.
Momma's smile is so wide
her teeth won't stay inside
but dentures tend to slide.
Hey! Adieu!

Ben, if Arthur's 'gone'
Ruma Tissum wants you.

Ma says "Adieu"!
