Become a Fan

It's rather ordinary.
The carpeting is plain...
Short,
Abrasive.
It's like sandpaper...
Nothing to scrape yourself back and forth over;
But it's not as blatant as your rickety whorehouse special.
Laying flat out over it
Is no pain.
And, though it's bound to leave impressions in your skin,
Small imprints vanish quickly.
Skin is resilient,
Stubborn.
The floor will be fine.

carpet burns fire in the skin watch the ceiling thinking of England secretary of nylon back whoring her day away what is missing? happiness calm vomit in a bucket fists in the face of lust to completion that's how your poem made me feel
