The Glass

Want v Need

When a particular love is just needed

The glass is only filled up halfway

When that very same love is all out wanted

The glass overflows with dismay

We’ve spent over twenty years building our relationship

My longing for you hasn’t always been shown

Don’t you think that’s a bit too long to give up tomorrow

Without exploring the possibility of the unknown?

I’m looking for sweet satisfaction

I know it can come from you

Whatever is required to earn it

I can promise I am willing to do
