Ode To Mary Lou Sawyer by Jeanne M Owens Sunday, March 30, 2003 Share Print Save Become a Fan I realize this isn't really an ode, though. Couldn't come up with a better title at the time, and it was hastily written.
Ode To Mary Lou Sawyer You were strong-willed and kind But taken in your prime. It's a horrible crime That cancer so ravaged And so slowly savaged Your body and mind. Dear friend, you are gone Thanks to that vile disease. But you will live on In our hearts and memories.
