I fear death

I fear death, oh! what a fright!

I try to imagine the day he calls

No paper no quills the day he calls

He drops on doors and breaks hearts

No permit’s required where he lands

He orders, host entertains.

I fear death ,Oh! what a fright!

This is an operation no frills’ requireth

Angel speaks chops bones

A modus operandi confounding minds

It’s the sampling that kills the person

A process pervading all the parts

As soul is hauled from toes and up

And out to where only Owner allows

The angel of death each day for a visit returns

The while life and laughter this person enjoys.

Death is a universal issue. It happens to everyone. When it's not with you, it's knocking at someone else's door. Though I believe in God and firmly believe in the goodness of God, yet I fear death and what that entails in terms of pain and the unknown...

(((safi)))

no one wants to think about their death. it is a scary thing to contemplate. but you capture it brilliantly!

i'm not afraid. all i hope is that it's quick and painless. why am i not afraid? because i trust in Jesus' Name and have been saved. :) o, i'll still die. no doubt of that. but: i know where i'm headed: to Heaven. and while i'd rather not die right now, i can't wait when it does happen. i'll live there forever. :)

(((HUGS))) and love, karla. :)

Smacks the fragilness home..

Sure! We are always on our toes and if we prepare then sin would be second place. So many people are thrilled by what they think is immortality. They are the ones who whould be in fear. Your words are wise.
