| I blame this on the state of Israel this is state Terrorism and blind hate of people under occupation. worse still is the world community that looks on as if nothing is happening. people are dying en masses, a genocide, and the world is celebrating a new year. |

Those that forget history are condemned to repeat it, it's often been said. Look around us: hate and discontent on all sides. Painful pen, Safi. Let's pray 2009 is a better year ... but am afraid it's not starting off very well.
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. |

| Safi you have poured your heart out in this poem and I am sure it is a poem you wish you didn't have to write. Speaking of terrorists, unfortunately, there are terroriest on both sides, and sadly it's American built planes and bombs that are causing so much death. It seems people never want to settle their differences - All this killing what will each side gain but hate |

As a native German let me tell ya - humans don't learn. As most wars grow from religous differences and hate, it will never stop. I gave up that kind of hope, no need to be naive.
Great poem, though.
Happy New Year!

Good one! And, even as Hamas fires more missiles into Israel, and Israel rockets Hamas missile sites, a politico is heard on CNN saying Egypt is being asked to broker another ceasefire truce between these blood-enemies. Why? Another ceasefire would only result in another outbreak of missiles and rockets. It is time to wipe the terrorist organizations, all of them, from the face of the earth, so we may have a better chance of living in peace. Where terrorists are concerned, there is no peaceful resolution, so we should simply end them right now.
