When one laughs
Another weeps
In the absence of light
Darkness reigns
Rain falls
While a land is parched.

Man travels an ordeal designed
At the dawn of life
Appears death
And like an autumn leaf
Sheds the family-tree.

The Lord calls
Servants is heedless
Many have passed on
In this minute alone
Yesterday's multitudes
Where are they now?
