The Poem by Jane Campbell Wednesday, March 16, 2011 Rated "G" by the Author. Share Print Save Become a Fan A beautiful poem! In my youth I wrote poetry. I have never forgotten this poem so I'm not sure if it was one I wrote or Anonymous.
The Poem I love you my darling I love you I do. I love you my darling so do be true . I had a heart and it was true , but now it's gone from me to you. Look after it as I have done for now you have two and I have none. When I die and you're not there I'll wait beside the silver stair and if you're not there by judgement day, I'll know you've gone the other way. So I'll give back the angels their wings, halo and things and just to prove my love is true , I'll go to hell to be with you.
