Secret Yearnings

it's a vision of human tragedy, restless and insane
that destroys all what ,with hard work, creates.

Secret Yearnings

While the soul
strongly yearns
infinite freedom
prison always
surrounds her
with barriers of mud.
How to enjoy life
if in the heart, nagging,
the desire to escape
is always present ?
Everything
appears wretched
to the painful mind
Every act
an obscure tragedy.

Freedom will search
but slavery only is found
on this obtuse earth.
Every step
a torment
every day
a sterile leaf
falling...

It's the vision of
human tragedy
restless and insane
that destroys all
that hard work
creates.
It is an awful vision
that every moment
weighs on
and in the mind collapses.

In an insane world
who can remain sound ?
He that gets ready
to escape to faraway land
holds  in the heart
the pain
with a sigh of anguish.

Oh ! Escape
escape away
in an oasis of oblivion
pure
of any human event
In a wild life
erasing even the memory
of a civilization reckless
that to destroy itself,
breathless tries
with a sick mind.
Not to hear in the heart
the stabbing remorse
of solidarity obliged
fatefull deeds.

Impetuous, filled with
venom and hate
out of the world,
lonely in life
with a ray of love
that God infuses
in the heart
hope for serenety.
Counting the remaning days
of a grim life
that chains us to this heart.

Bravo!

It is sad to say "hooray" to sadness but its life's dreams that reality trespasses upon.

I sure have missed youmy friend.

Some powerful emotions here. Yes, in this world of cruelty, escaping would be lovelier for some.

I also feel like escaping at times Marco.
Life can be so cruel. But I do trust in Him
and Him alone to get me through. This was most
powerful and touching. I felt every word. floria
