Secret Love

Oh well, I didn't think it was possible,
To ever fall in love again,
Seem I was wrong,
This is how it began,

I fell in love
With the words on a screen,
Got a faceless Lover,
That I have never seen,
We had a lot in common, that's a fact,
Oh how, I wish I could believe
All this bull crap,

It didn't take long,
Before he wanted to meet,
Set up a time and place
In a coffee shop across the street,
It was that time, he was closing in,
This handsome man, came approachin,
He arrived to the table, introduced his name,
I got up and ran for my life,
Never did I see him again..

This had such a great emotional beginning, and yet for some unknown reason there wasn’t the fairy tale happy ending, which would have sealed this remarkable well-penned composition. It really seemed like it would have been a perfect union. Oh well, such is life when one is afraid to reach out again. Thanks for sharing it. Take care and be well.
