The day was planned, some time to spend together,
Some holding hands, some dinner;whatever
We talked about our hopes, our goals and our dreams,
We danced to the tunes of the golden oldies
Suddenly, your demeanor was changed,
After the cell phone call, you were different with me,
Around eleven thirty you decided to leave,
To meet the other person, from the call you received,
I wanted to walk you out to the car,
But you said, oh no it’s too late to be out walking,
How nice of you to be so thoughtful,
Saying things you really didn’t mean
I watched you as you walked to your car,
You disappeared into the nite,
Seem funny to me, you never moved from your spot,
You got out of your car and met someone,
Instead of going home like you said you were,
You met with a stranger on Sunset Not the smartest move, hope there's no regrets,
It hurts me to say this, But I been had again,
You have used me for the last time,
And I never want to see you again old Friend.
