I wish I could
fall in love
look into the eyes
of a true heart
and know the
gentle whispers
of long mellow nights
I would give myself
as truly as
an arrow flies
But maybe
I fool myself
the winds of life
blown me off course
with this
weightless thinking
aimed too high in such
cloud-like fantasies
believing that he
will come to me
Maybe I fool myself
But still I wish
I could fall in love.

Caution, lowering the bow can get you in trouble. Aim high and wait. Hard to do but so worth it in the end. Bless you, J'nia

Carolyn,
I believe only someone in love could actually write this, and write it beautifully.

You are in love Bear, you just have to follow through with it and let him know, if the arrow misses it's mark, you'll have to aim again, and again if necessary. I would send some smoke signals to the great spirit to get some help here. Bless you! Jasmin Horst

I sincerely believe Carolyn that there is love for everyone and yours is as special as you are...he will come into your life and when he does the wait will have been worth it.

And one day you will as the arrow of love will find your aching heart and fill it with everlasting love...

You should go to the prairie and let a arrow fly, there, where it lands you should see him one day, a truly man, worthy of that arrow.

Better to aim too high than to endure wounds from arrows of the unworthy. Beautiful write Lady Paw.

It is a fine wish and you express it very well in your verses, Carolyn. Thank you. Love and best wishes,

Bear,

Wishes do come true. Look at that video again of Susan Boyle - she didn't let anything get in her way and she dreamed a dream and soared! A beautiful write.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. :)
