Is anyone up for a challenge?  If so.. here is one.
Title your piece "The Acronym of Me"
Then use the letters in your name as
the first letter for a word or sentence
that is about you.  If you're up for a
challenge, then I say... I dare you...
and have fun...

note: this challenge was VERY difficult for me
since I rarely write about myself.  So my attempt
falls short of what this challenge intended, but
here it goes anyways...

~The Acronym Of Me~

C hanges are shifting
A cross the pages of my
R eality and it's scary because
O verlooking something that could be my
L ast chance would be to remain like all my
Y esterdays when that "one more chance"
N ever came and now I find myself

R eeling in the effects of
E very moment since you
D ared enter the pages of my life

B elieving for the first time perhaps that maybe
E veryone gets a last chance but
A ll I know for sure is this shifting into a new
R eality feels very welcoming for a change.

Wow, this challenge's a toughie--will have to see what I can come up with. That "one more chance" is what we all live for. Your poem goes close to the heart of this oldster.

Challenging challenge, Bear. With 14 letters in my name,
I wonder if there's enough I want to say about me that would
use all 14. I'll think about it. I like what you did with
your letters. -gene.

You got me and the message is sweet. My last one, MOTHRA, for Mother's day, didn't go over so well. I'm passing.

Nicely done, Carolyn. I did one of these a few years back on another site, and it was very difficult...as you say. I like the way yours flows from one line to the next. It seems flawless. Hugs,

Very nicely done, Carolyn. Like you, I don't make a point of writing about "myself" although what I write is obviously a part of my "being" so I suppose it is about me after all. I shall think about your challenge. Your verses are revealing and meaningful. Love and best wishes,

Regis
