No brilliant rhyme or poetic verse could ever be grand enough to describe all of the wondrous things a Mother is. This poem merely covers a few. Happy Mother's Day!

A mother has a heart of gold
Her love spreads like a vine
Her empathy never grows old
She’s gentle by design
She is more wondrous than a field
Of vibrant wildflowers
Her joy can never be concealed
Mom has amazing powers
Nobody else is this wide world
Could fold a load of clothing
While adding fractions, one by one
Without the need for loathing
She has dinner ready by seven
However tough the day
Indeed, Mom is a gift from Heaven
In every single way
A mother is a trusted friend
When friends seem far and few
She shares your utmost hopes and dreams
Mom wants the best for you
Regardless of how old or young
You are your Mother’s child
Mom – a heroine unsung
An idol who God styled
A Mother’s smile glows like the sun
Her tear falls like the rain
Her beauty is second to none
E’ermore, she shall remain
The heart beating under your chest
Each dream you’ve kept in sight –
I hope your Mom’s Day is the best
Like you, a pure delight
