In celebration of the millionth visitor to my Author's Den website, I wanted to share this poem and say thank you to everyone who has supported my writing over the years. YOU, my readers, are the reason I continue to share my work. YOU make it all worthwhile. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!!!

Today, I sit in silence; my eyes are moved to tears
Filled with eternal memories, spanning across the years
The beauty and the struggle, the moonglow and the gray
Each heartfelt recollection has led me to this day
I look upon my history and the sweet rhymes I’ve known
The days I’ve lived are special; none have been spent alone
You’ve been there on this passage; you’ve guided me in style
I’m grateful for your friendship, as I’ve traveled each mile
Today, I rest in glory with a new summit scaled
I’ve risen from the ashes; at last, I have prevailed
I’ve touched the lives of children; I’ve moved the souls of men
Because of you, I’ve printed these heartfelt words I pen
You’ve led me across mountains when fog obscured my view
You’ve taught me to be patient and how to see things through
Indeed, my friends, I’m grateful each one of you is there
Without you, I am nothing; you are an answered prayer

Today, I stand quite proudly; my smile so widely gleams
I thank you all, so humbly, for aiding all my dreams
Without your love and guidance, none of this would be real
Prose could neither repay you nor tell you how I feel
My poems are mine to tender, to nurture and to grow
Their words are firmly planted to cultivate and sow
Their verses are the seedlings that shine in the daylight
My friends, you are the flowers; your faith leads me to write!

So beautifully perfect. Not a mistake in any line. This is a wonderful tribute Jill to everyone at AD, and don't forget yourself too, because you are also one of the reasons many of us continue to write. Your comments too are what keeps us going. Write on dear sister.

May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and who love you, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie.

Jill, nothing satisfies more that the recognition and support of one's peers, it makes life worth to live, doesn't?
Congratulations, you are a daughter of Erato.
