A Whisper
Whispered wisp’s alight on me
Did it travel on the breeze?
Faintly softly barely heard
Skin brushed of wings like thee night bird
Caressed my cheek like morning sun
Softness of a baby’s touch
Thee heart whispers on the wind
Reaching out to draw me in
I do exist, I am but here
Await your arms, shed not a tear
Listen love, do you not hear?
My soft whisper draws you near
Softly in the morning dusk
To brush your cheek a fingers touch
Sweet melody of piano keys
Ribbons reach to enter thee
Like violin a ‘neath my chin
Gently held I warmly give
Sweet songs of love
We both relive
As river flows ere meadow green
White roses sought of sweet serene
O’er the mountain and the sea
As the heavens brought to me
The breeze has blown to you my one
A Whisper on the wind of love
