A beautiful dream

Came upon the Mist

Entrancing mist shadowing the woods

Nightfall in all her splendor

Enchantment falls upon the Lea

Whilst I stand afore arrayed

Donning all emotion a gown of love

Shades of serenity will hold you

Perfumed in lilac and lavender

Gentle as mornings dew

Titillating your senses

Fluttering as the gentle wing

Of the butterfly kiss

Gracing your lips sweet reminisce

Emerging you came upon the mist

Encapsulating you wholly a gift

To the one who has been in your midst

Soft petals hath kissed

Pure as waters of oceans unknown

Caught in the bliss of all horizons

Through the warmth of dawns gentle ray

Where time stands still, you are there

Willowing dance of bewitching words in these lines. Just the word 'perfume' is pretty compellingly sensational when paired with lilac and lavendar. Your subject matter and vocabulary choices make for lavishly woven material and read like drawing a silk scarf across one's neck....or a feather across one's cheek. Leaving off with "...you are there" is a striking close. Enjoyed this very much. ~~ Diana
