The Silent Call

All of us are responsible for our own destiny, the part of us that is unique.

The Silent Call

Listen, listen to your inner voice,

A feeling a knowing, a secret force

That’s pulsing away at the core of all,

With the truth, the knowledge, the silent call.

When work is not work but something you must do,

You’ve found your calling, only found by few

Most go their way without pausing to reason,

They amble and stray from season to season

Find what you do best, search at great length,

Give it your soul, your heart, your strength.

Listen, listen to your inner voice,

A feeling, a knowing a secret force,

Guiding you from some distant shore,

With truth and knowledge eternally pure,

Pulsing away at the inner core,

Destiny is the silent call.

This feels like a gentle prayer. Very beautiful. ~~ The Other Diana :)

Yes...there is inside each of us a 'higher self' that knows just what we need. It knows us best...Some call it intuition, and if we can take note of this inner calling,.. wonderful synchronistic events can occur to lead us to our life's true purpose...
I enjoyed this...
Best wishes, Diana...
