Maybe one day I will find her

A dark angel, traveling in the light

Rebellious, always trying to do right

Why have you called now? It's so late

Damaged lives and twisted fate

My best years without a mate

It's twisted fate to get a mate when it's so late!

Do I complain? Ungrateful wretch am I

From birth some do not love,

Even till the day they die

Are not the moments I'm living now,

The most important in my life?

I have the power over now, but not past strife

I can see the trees caressed by the breeze

I can feel the wind in my hair, and the sun upon my face

Her haloed head, her body clothed in lace

I love her like no other

I love her like a lover

I love her

I am having a time trying to clarify whether you wrote for the female angel and yourself, alternately; or just for yourself or her, until the ending when it seems clear that only one is speaking. Aside from my not understanding completely, this writing seems very ethereal and spiritually zealous; I feel the desires are not earthly, anymore, and they are menacing because it has not happened that the two of you are ever together long enough to communicate fully. An elusive and re-occurring divide that taunts you whenever. I hope you find the one who gives this aura and presence, and that you will love each other in never ending bliss.

David, I too, search for him, the man that I know is out there somewhere. I can feel his energy all the time...One day hopefully soon the Universe will bring him to me...

Lovely poem that I can relate to.

Peace and love and light

"Damaged lives and twisted fate" our paths
our journey...our travels...our experiences
we are all the same I think despite geological
locations...your words take me to imagine the
"what if's"...and what if she emerged?
I have my what if's too...it would be wonderful
despite the "damaged lives and twisted fate"

Gratefully and Patiently Traveling

David, this is so lovely and filled with longing...and I think she will appear, perhaps when you least expect her to.
