- NAFTA -
By George - I think I figgered it out!
Besides Tariff eliminations and Agricultural benefits
Other Boondoggles have occurred -
Let’s take a Peek-See -
Since its inception in 1994 -
How many Millions of Illegal Aliens have we Imported?
We get really Cheap Labor and Plenty of Dope -
And Mexico gets Millions of Dollars in Aid!
AND - LESS PEONS TO SUPPORT!
Just look around - we also get Millions of Green-Card Amigos!
Every - City, County, State Government Facility -
Has these guys on the Payroll - Mowing and doing Landscaping!
Every - Major Corporation, College, University - DITTO!
WHICH AMERICAN COMPANIES ARE EMPLOYING THEM?
AND MAKING A BUNDLE!
Look around some more -
Many, many Janitorial Services Companies have -
Replaced Black American Workers with NO COMPRENDES!
Is this Fair? Is this Equitable? Is this Necessary?
From the West Coast and the Border States -
Where this phenomena was first evident -
It has spread across America, throughout - to the East Coast.
Every Major City is totally infiltrated!
Not only do we see more and more Mexicans -
Working on Every Road Crew, and in line at
Every Fast Food Store, but also -
More and more Storefronts OWNED by Mexicans!
“Hable Espanol - Dinero Transferos -
Signs Blatantly Written in Spanish -
So they can Send Our American Money Back Home!
So that more Familias can be Imported!
IS THIS HELPING THEM TO LEARN INGLES?
More and more and more Neighborhoods -
Taken over by Mexican Populations -
More and more in Waiting and Emergency Rooms in Hospitals!
And many, if not most - with NO HEALTH INSURANCE!
To quote ole “Daddy Bush”
“READ MY LIPS”
I am Not Anti-Mexican - I am Anti-FREELOADERS!
I am Anti-LOSING-AMERICAN-JOBS!
Education Costs - Healthcare Costs - Social Security Costs -
Increased CRIME STATISTICS from the GANG-BANGERS!
Incarceration Costs - Larger Jails - More Police Needed -
DOPE - GUNS - MURDER - RAPE - ASSAULTS!
Is this all the fault of the honest, hard-working Mexican?
A BIG HELL NO!
It is the fault of our own Government -
Our Own Home-Grown Rich, Do-Nothing Politicians!
Who in the Hell is Minding The American Store?
BUILD A WALL!
CLOSE THE BORDER!
BRING TROOPS FROM IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN
TO ‘MAN’ IT!
Although I can not Prove it -
Just like Viet Nam’s DOPE being Imported Here -
SOMEBODY UP TOP -
IS MAKING A LOT OF PESOS!
EL PRESSO EL NUMERO NUEVE -
POR INGLES!
UNO = ESPANOL!
DOS = VIETNAMESE!
TRES = CUBAN!
QUATRO = PUERTO RICAN!
CINCO = CHINESE!
SES = JAPANESE!
SIETE = KOREAN!
OCHO = ARAPAHO!
NUEVE = AMERICAN!
GIMME A BREAK!

FACT SHEET:
North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)
January 2008 The final provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) were fully implemented on January 1, 2008. Launched on January 1, 1994, NAFTA is one of the most successful trade agreements in history and has contributed to significant increases in agricultural trade and investment between the United States, Canada and Mexico and has benefited farmers, ranchers and consumers throughout North America.
With full implementation, the last remaining trade restriction on a handful of agricultural commodities such as U.S. exports to Mexico of corn, dry edible beans, nonfat dry milk and high fructose corn syrup and Mexican exports to the United States of sugar and certain horticultural products are now removed. The United States will continue to work with Mexico to build on the successes achieved to date. Since 2005, the United States has invested nearly $20 million in programs and technical exchanges to assist Mexico in addressing production, distribution and marketing-related challenges associated with the transition to free and open trade.
The agricultural provisions of the U.S.-Canada Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), in effect since 1989, were incorporated into the NAFTA. Under these provisions, all tariffs affecting agricultural trade between the United States and Canada, with a few exceptions for items covered by tariff-rate quotas (TRQ's), were removed before January 1, 1998.
Mexico and Canada reached a separate bilateral NAFTA agreement on market access for agricultural products. The Mexican-Canadian agreement eliminated most tariffs either immediately or over 5, 10, or 15 years.

Tom, trust me, I know how you feel, but there are a few things we need to remember.
1. Immigration laws go back to the Truman administration, yet those laws were never enforced.
2. When we complain about the jobs that illegals take from American Citizens, you need to ask yourself; would you mow that lawn, mop that floor, pick that apple or cook that meal? Before you say 'hell yes' why were illegal aliens the only ones that took these jobs? The answer is no one else (Usn's) wanted those jobs, for many people, these jobs were below their level and insulted their sensibilities.
3. I agree, laws need to be enforced and it starts at the top, and oh yah, nafta sucks.
I need to stop... time to take my meds (smiling)
Cheers,
Dan

Your frustration is felt by many. If the people of the US would have voted on NAFTA, NAFTA would have failed. Likewise, if the people of Mexico would have voted on NAFTA, NAFTA would have failed. It has not benefited the average citizen, in Canada, Mexico, or the US. NAFTA has benefited the elite from all political ideologies across the borders. As is often the case, the elite manipulate others for personal gain and the power to manipulate.
US immigration policy is a travesty that must be changed. It must first of all be good for our nation, and then maintain the humanitarian welcome that built this great land. There is nothing wrong with being a good neighbor as long as your neighbor wants to be good too. Criminals should be deported. As far as the English language problem goes, perhaps we should blame the founders of this country for refusing to agree upon a national language. Then of course, we can't attack the icons of the fictitious American dream.

Crazy! And then people wonder why we can't get ahead! I say send the illegals and anchor babies BACK where they come from and DON'T let them back! Or make them learn English; NO exceptions, or THEY don't live here! And TAKE AWAY their benefits so deserving Americans (like our Veterans and people like ME!) can get the help/money they need!! If they are doing it under their own power, more power to them, but for those who intentionally abuse our ways, do NOT let them in!! EVER!! Powerful call for change! I hear ya, believe me!!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :(
And another thing: NO SPANISH, ONLY ENGLISH!! PERIOD!!!! |
