Gob - a Piece, Mass, or Lump -
As of a Soft or Viscous Substance -
YEP! That’s Harry!
Lumpy - a Good Adjective!
Gob - Great Quantities - Lots -
As in - Gobs of Money.
YEP! That’s Harry!
Costs a Lot - in Upkeep!
Gob - (slang) - a Sailor of The U.S. Navy -
NOPE! Not Harry!
No Anchors - But -
He sure does Weigh!
Gob - my definition -
Good Ole Boy!
YEP! That’s Harry!
He’s a Male Pussycat -
An Orange Tabby -
Who Owns Bernie -
Neither Too Shabby!
YEP - He’s Brindled (striped) -
And somewhat Tawny -
A Tawny Tabby Tigger -
But Not Brawny!
Gentle as a Lamb -
And Soft to the Touch -
Harry’s Loved by All -
So Very Much!
ME-OW -
Is How he Greets You -
So Soft and Furry -
Always Calm - Never in a Hurry -
‘Ceptin’ if’n it’s Lunch!
Harry’s Fat - Not Sassy -
A Fuzzy-Wuzzy Feline -
And - OH - So Classy!
Good Ole Boy?
That’s Our Harry!
GOB!

Recently, we did a Poem
On his Younger Brother, Harry -
And - Wesley Demanded Equal Time!
So - we Reversed GOB To -
BOG - an Area of Wet Marshy Ground -
NOPE! Not Wesley!
Wet Behind the Ears Maybe?
Compulsive - Not Very Grounded!
In Fact - Wesley is a Jail-Bird!
YEP! Got Out - Escaped - From Catonsville -
Was Locked Up in Ellicott City!
YEP! Wesley Has A “Rap-Sheet!
He’s a Grey-Striped Tabby -
Lean, Sleek and Fast -
He Owns Becky, my Great-Niece -
His Shenanigans keep her Aghast!
On his Collar There’s a Little Bell-
The Ding- Ding-Ding -
Announces his Comings and Goings
And Warns us so Well!
Like a Preying Tiger -
He Watches the Door -
Escaping Again and Again -
Adventures Galore!
Friskier and More Michievous
Than his Younger, Heavier Brother -
Wesley’s an Imp - a Protagonist -
Jumping on Harry, from Under-Cover!
YEP! Unlike a Slow, Sloggy Bog -
Wesley is Spry and Quick!
But - When Heavy Harry’s Had Enough -
WHOMP! Stomp! And Even a Kick!
It’s a Joy to Watch them Romp -
And Chase Each Other To and Fro -
One Prances and Pounces Quickly -
The Other - Sure and Slow!
Wesley’s like a Panther -
Dark - and Slinking Slyly -
Harry’s like a Tiger -
Slow - and Cautious - While Smiling Wryly!
That’s my Story of Two Bros -
One a BOG - T’other a GOB -
The Elder - a Svelte -
The Younger - a Blob!

TomKat, after what you said about the Navy boys I would recommend you not to go wagging your tail near those boys yards.
And a most important PS. never ever no way José tell a joke about Marines!
