“All Down-Hill Now!”
“Under The Hill”
Did You ‘Pass Fifty’ Yet? Or GO?
Surely, ‘Over’ Is Better Than ‘Under’ - Right?
But, It Is Not Without Repercussions!
“Time Heals All Wounds!”
“Time Wounds All Heels!”
T’ain’t Necessarily So!
‘Old Age’ Is Always Accompanied By More Maladies!
Merely A ‘Fact of Life’ ...
As We Rapidly Approach Death!
To Then Paraphrase My Dad ...

I Started Delivering Prescriptions Six Years Ago ...
Naturally, to SICK People, Right?
The Majority of These Patients Are OLD!
‘Senior Citizens’ - No Less!
As Each Day, Week, Month, Year - Passed ...
I Noticed ... I No Longer Went to Mr. or Mrs. X ...
WHY? Why NOT?
‘Cause He/She DIED!
He/She Was a Nice Old Guy/Gal ...
But, Inevitably ... The ‘END’ Is The Same ...
For ALL of Us!
0-10-20-30-40-50-60-70-80-90-100-110 ... DONE!
Am I Being Morbid?
Gim’Me A Big ‘Hell No!’
Just Factual! TIME ...
Wears Down - The Body, Mind, Spirit, And Soul!
Face IT!
We Are ALL Mortal - Not Immortal!
It has Been Said That:
“Life Is A Journey - Not a Destination!”
Have You Had FUN On Your Trip?
Have you Experienced ... LOVE?

| I've been only delivering meds for just over a year and I see the same thing...though I have one couple that are 100 & 101 respectively & the man at 100 still works, then swims in a pool and drives his own car...both I really enjoy to talk to, they have seen so much and have knowledge to impart...but I get what your saying & yes u are the consummate "old fart"...;-) Jurseeeeeeeeeeeey |

Life is a Journey - Not a Destination.
I truly believe that, and I've been enjoying my journey immensely. The key for me is trying to learn something new every day. And lots of the time, I learn it from some sort of animal. Right now, I'm learning from my camping partner - a truly unique wild dog. And I'm really digging this backyard camping with him - I feel like a little kid again.
Some people are old at 50 - others keep on ticking, until the end. I hope to be one of those. |
