The bell tolls When the black hands unite As the clock Strikes the hour And the sleek metal beast Gracefully rolls into the station A billowy cloud of steam Rises from the metallic wheels The heat sears Sending a smoky covering Across the platform Get your tickets, Yells the men At the counters In the main terminal while Jumbled words pour like rain Over the masses Hustling and bustling To reach their destination. I've ridden the rails Many a time Watching the pitcuresque landscape Racing by from My plush window seat while Being wined and dined by The fine service Knowing that locomotives, Trusted for its prompt Arrival and departure. Can take you anywhere. There's always mystique And intrique at the depot, Where I stand Posed, expecting my date with destiny Long have I anticipated the Day I'd shower You with all my Love; Today it's comes, and I'm Waiting for the Train.
