For all lovers, especially my youngest sister, Mary, and her fiance, Adam. They will marry March 28.
|
Just you and I
We can stand anything
Through days that have
Tornadoes and rain,
Snow and hurricanes
And yes, even sunny day.
Just you and I
Together we can conquer and overcome
Everything, whether it be
Good times or bad.
Just you and I
Through the years
One fact between us never changes
Our love
Lasts forever.
In every age,
You and I
Are hand in hand,
Hearts entertwined,
Journeying as
Friends,
Lovers,
Husband and wife.
Just you and I
Today I say yes
Always and forever
To you and I.

Ideally, that's the way it ought to be, Mary. Thank you for sharing these lovely sentiments; a fine gift for your sister and her fiance. Love and best wishes,

Well done and so close to being the lyrics to a bride and groom waltz that you should really explore that possiblity. Would make a lovely wedding present for them. I wrote the waltz for the father daughter waltz at my daughters wedding and she loved it as a special gift from me to her.
