For my aunt and uncle, Pat and Tim Crosby, on their 50th wedding anniversary.
|
Fifty years ago
We began
Just you and me.
We were in love
And we decided to
Spend our lives together,
To share our dreams,
Trials and tribulations and to
Raise a family.
So we joined hands,
Vowing to forsake all others,
To love and cherish
In good times and in bad,
In sickness and health
Till death do we part.
Fifty years later
As we make our
Sacred promises to each other again
Forever bound to live and love as
Husband and wife, lovers and friends
For fifty times fifty and
Into infinity.
