I have not written but once today. Here I am reading poetry because I'm having withdrawal symptoms.

|My dear friend, I've seen alcoholism destroy too many families. It's a horrible disease. One thing I have learned. The alcoholic has to be the one to WANT to quit....it's their decision. No matter how badly we want it for them, the choice is theirs. God bless, sweet friend.

I'll join you for a Diet Coke (that's my addiction). :) I can relate--alcohol is an insidious addiction. I gave it up 23 years ago. :) Don't desire it at all any more...now if I could give up these damn smokes....
An excellent, potentially life saving write. :) Thank you, Sir!
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. :)
