Apparition
Forgive me, for each time your name appears
I lose all my composure and the tears
Come streaming forth from somewhere deep inside
My soul with all the love I cannot hide
From you, of all the angels I have met,
From every grace that put my heart in debt
True love in every answer to my prayer
Your name appears and I believe you're there.
No words can follow, just to know it's true ,
At any time in life that I’m for you,
Together in whatever way may be
Is more than I had ever hoped to see.
Then gone, but I will never cease to know
That love will like the flowers come and go
And sometimes I'll be there when they arrive,
For them and you I'm glad that I'm alive.

| A hauntingly lovely poem. Thanks, I needed to read about love. I have been so obsessed by pious ghosts lately. This was a sweet one to reflect on. |
