We Shall Never Forget...

Etched in hearts that once flowed warm

A painful shard embe dded by 9-11

Reminds us all of our precious loss

Memories frozen in picture frames

Teary eyes remember names

Heroes lives taken away

By terrorists for senseless fame

In loving memory let us pray

Never again this price to pay...

I remember this day all too well and the shock and horror that reverberated around the world. Here in South Africa we watched this disaster unfold in front of our disbelieving eyes. How could it happen? ...and yet it did. My heart goes out to those who lost during this terrible tragedy. Thanks for a moving tribute.
