No matter how hard you try you will never get the best of me.
I have the will-power to out last.
Strength and determination no to be beat down and stay down.
I can tell when you are trying to build up a bigger army of bad cells
to attack and overtake all the good ones
Running around causing complete havoc inside of me.
You continually throw all you have at me
and at times you do get a few good knocks in,
laying me up for days on end.
Make no mistake, I am stronger and I WILL always win.
You and your other auto-immune friends should know by now,
I will always put up a good fight and through fierce determination
I will soldier on and with my best defenses
I will never allow you to get the best of me.

| Whatever the pain (and only a fool would think they know)such focus and aspiration to overcome will always render the subject proud and worthy of respect. Were you to be another victim, a "whoa is me" cliche, certain readers would abandon your need to express. |
