Shortcomings and Pitfalls plague our Society.
They come in Shapes and Forms of every Variety.
Lack of Health Care, Jobs and other economic Woes,
And a Mighty Military that can't defeat any Foes.
When Society's Ills are too difficult to understand,
Just Blame it on the WHITE MAN!
To dehumanize, he invented the "N Word",
Killed it, buried it, Kennedy, King and Malcolm X.
At least, that's what I heard.
What type of Crime will he perpetrate next?
Being Broke, with all the Money in the Bank's Vault.
HEAVENS! It's got to be the White Man's Fault.
Male Slaves were the Mainstay of the Ante-bellum Plantation.
He fought the Civil War to keep them in Chains.
Now they fill the Post-bellum Prisons across the Nation;
Thanks to the 13Th Amendment's "Essential Exception"* Refrains.
When the Problems are too complex to Understand,
Sure! It's okay to blame it on the WHITE MAN.
He engineered Swine Flu, Bird Flu and stuff to turn you Blue,
Screwed up Medicare, the Post Office and the Environment Too.
He deviously designed Viruses to make the Species Jump,
Manipulated the Market and made Prices too high to pump.
When you favor a Cause, you find a Reason.
When you are against it, you make an Excuse.
The Best Reason for any Season,
Is the Excuse that the WHITE MAN caused the Abuse!
*The "Essential Exception" refers to the fact that the 13Th Amendment did not abolish slavery in prisons or other places of incarceration.
